Vang Vieng Upgrades Infrastructure with $1.8 Million to Boost Tourism and Sustainability
Vang Vieng is improving its infrastructure with a $1.8 million project backed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The project involves developing 11 roads, totaling 5,294 meters, renovating drainage systems, fixing footpaths, resurfacing roads, adding new streetlights, and enhancing sewage systems. Landscaping efforts like tree planting and creating designated parking areas are also included.
This initiative aims to make Vang Vieng a greener and more accessible tourist destination, boosting the local economy while promoting sustainable tourism.
